Yellow Cat Productions has produced award-winning media in Washington, DC since 1980.  We are located on Capitol Hill near Eastern Market. We have worked in many program areas including: News, broadcast and cable programs, documentaries, PSAs, government, and corporate communications programs.  Our independent documentaries have aired in many countries. Since 2016 we've dropped video field production and continue video post production. Fine art still photography projects are currently a creative focus as well as a photography book, North Mississippi Homeplace, published by The Library of Congress and the University of Georgia Press. The book is due for release May 15th, 2019.

With years of experience we know Washington, Capitol Hill, the White House, Smithsonian and all the rest. We can provide research, permits, scriptwriting, production design & management, editing, and musical composition.  We are experienced film and picture researchers at the National Archives and the Library of Congress.

Much of the fall and winter was spent on a fascinating project with the Anacostia Community Museum.  Yellow Cat Productions provided production services to capture family stories about the war. Read more about Washington in the Civil War, Smithsonian Exhibit
