"To juke" is to dance, to whoop it up, to play the blues. JUKE
was shot in and around the Delta town of Greenville over the weekend of
their annual Blues Festival in September, 1996.
Featuring T-Model Ford, Farmer John, and John Horton, this 27-minute music
documentary examines the lives of some blues musicians in Greenville today,
the juke joints that are still hopping, and the blues festival where all
races come together once a year to juke.
"JUKE brings the blues into the 21st century. The music is
fantastic! John Horton gets down to the business of what blues is all about."
